Notecard confessions
Now isn't this crazy? Here we have an interned craze that became so popular teachers decided to put it to good use. But first they had to put a spoon on it. A traditional note card confession comes from personal experience, something troubling that has happened in the past. Now teachers have used the format to put students in the shoes of figures from the past. I think this is a great idea because it forces the children to think critically about what life would have been like for a person in the given time period. THis is something I see useful in a history class definitely, but I'm sure there could be use in other subjects as well. Maybe an English teacher could put students in the place of the protagonist in a novel the class is reading.
Anyway, that's all I have for you guys today. Check out my video below. I chose to make mine about Anne Frank. Her story has always been of interest to me; what it was like for her and her family to be stuck for two years, unable to go anywhere or see anyone. WHat person from history would you choose?
Until ext time!
